Within the popular form factor called as MO-297 which is defined by JEDEC, innoDisk SATA Slim series offers SATA Slim J200 and D150Q two models. SATA Slim series delivers tiny-sized form factor, especially appropriate for applications, such as nano ITX, Mini ITX, as well as digital signage.

The SATA Slim J200 not only upgrades the performance, sequential read and write speed is up to 230MB/sec. and 180MB/sec. respectively, also the capacity is doubled impressively, up to 32GB within SLC flash IC.

Targeted at embedded/industrial systems such as tablet PC and digital signage, SATA Slim J200 offers much smaller form factor which features light-weight and enhances mobility, compared with 2.5" SSD. Additionally, SATA Slim J200 benefits for anti-shock and anti-vibration since the positioning holes.

Wear Leveling
Flash memory can be erased a limited number of times. This number is called the erase cycle limit or write endurance limit and is defined by the flash array vendor. The erase cycle limit applies to each individual erase block in the flash device SATA Slim J200 wide temp uses a wear-leveling algorithm to ensure that consecutive writes of a specific sector are not written physically to the same page in the flash. This spreads flash media usage evenly across all pages, thereby maximizing flash lifetime.
