solid-state flash disk that electrically complies with ATA6 standard. InnoDisk
FiD 2.5 ATA6000 is 2.5-inch solid-state data storage systems under industrial
environment. FiD 2.5 ATA6000 supports PIO (0-4), Multiword DMA(0-2) and Ultra
DMA(0-5) transfer modes. FiD 2.5 ATA6000 supports LBA addressing mode.

configured as a boot device.

Flash memory can be erased a limited number of times. This number is called the
erase cycle limit or write endurance limit and is defined by the flash array
vendor. The erase
cycle limit applies to each individual erase block in the flash device. FiD 2.5
ATA6000 uses a wear-leveling algorithm to ensure that consecutive writes of a
specific sector are not written physically to the same page in the flash. This
averages flash media usage evenly across all pages, thereby flash lifetime
extends. |
